Classical Music and Studying

Does classical music help you study? ..even make you smarter? According to a 2010 study from the University of Vienna, there remains no support for ability gains from listening to classical music. Nevertheless I still like studying (when I do) with classical music in the background.

There's just something in classical music calms and soothes me. It keeps the zombie trudging onward. It gets me to actually do something, like study for example.. though most of the time I usually just daydream..

Desk and Chair at Home

Finally got a desk and chair for my apartment. It's literally been years since I've planned to get one, just never got around to doing so.

Got both furnitures from SM Department Store, or SM Homeworld (not sure if they're the same), and delivered two days after purchase for a small delivery fee.

I guess I'll be doing some work at home now.. maybe.

Pork Abodo in Vinegar

Cooked my mother's pork adobo in vinegar recipe for the first time. It didn't end up tasting like my mother's cooking, but it was alright. I must have stewed it a bit too long and didn't add as much salt as needed.

Gotta add more salt.. next time.
